For sure you can and you should, I am sure. I would also tell the artist you have your idea from – and thank him/her and give a link to your edition. But really, write it in your artist description that the idea was not yours but that you just tried to make your own version of this idea. That would be great.

I agree with this guy 100%. You should at least give some credit to the original artist from whom you got your idea from, especially since your version is almost exactly the same
